[2.9.4] — 2019–01–07
The latest version of the NEO-CLI v2.9.4 was released 2 weeks ago so I did a little testing. We are starting to see the first few nodes deploying this version already which is great to see.
Testing 2.9.4:
I downloaded the NEO-CLI from here:
Guide here:
By modifying the PROTOCOL.JSON and CONFIG.JSON I built up my own local private-net. Obviously it’s Local LAN so will behave a little differently but the concept is the same. Essentially you generate new standby validators and seeds. Set all your ports, create signatures, create a multi-sig address and start your consensus. There are some good guides and Docker Environments if anyone wants to play around, just do some googling.
I also modified the block-speed, Something that can in theory be done on the public-net when NEO are ready.
Some playing around with 3 x consensus nodes below and NEO-GUI. Sending myself GAS /NEO. Verifying TX.
